What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis is a heightened state of relaxation and altered awareness, in which a person remains fully aware of their surroundings and in full control of all there actions, at all times. It is such a natural phenomenon, that experts believe we enter hypnosis at least every sixty to ninety minutes and that 15 minutes of hypnosis is as good as an hour asleep.
What does hypnosis feel like?
You are deeply relaxed and calm, aware of everything happening around you. It is a pleasant and enjoyable state, very similar to daydreaming or drifting off to sleep. You will feel wonderfully relaxed and you may find that your sleep will be of a much better quality.
Is hypnosis dangerous?
There is nothing dangerous in hypnosis, you are in complete control at all times and you cannot be hypnotised against your will. People fear hypnosis as they think the therapist will be in control, but in reality, you are always in control and can choose not to respond to a suggestion.
How can hypnotherapy help my addictions?
Hypnosis is a rapid way to be in control of your behavior, to remove the addictive behaviors that are holding you back and to feel a sense of ease and freedom from addictions. The sessions aim to trigger and release good feelings and a new state of mind that will put you at ease, reduce anxiety, increase confidence, improve self esteem and remove the addictive urge.
